Continuing the Flickr example, you might use SimpleDataListSource when retrieving all of a user's photo sets (i.e. albums) - there are likely to be only a small number of these that are retrieved with a single API call.

In contrast you would probably use PagedDataListSource for Flickr interesting photos as there are a large number of these and returned in a paged manner (of course you could use something like 'flickrApi.GetInterestingPhotos(1,500)' although this might take a while!).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10117584978862298252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8838794302949839825.post-11849298589061117402012-04-19T04:24:09.305+01:002012-04-19T04:24:09.305+01:00Ok that was actually pretty easy (Sorry to spam yo...Ok that was actually pretty easy (Sorry to spam your blog again)

It seems to be as easy as:

protected override Task> FetchItemsAsync()
{
return flickrApi.GetInterestingPhotos(1, 20);
}

:)GManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18014628232550002509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8838794302949839825.post-12833682685118897072012-04-19T04:18:58.137+01:002012-04-19T04:18:58.137+01:00Hi Andy,
